Day 3 – Sunday, July 18th Jay and Jeff played Carnoustie, the rest tour Glamis Castle. High Tea with Stewart for Dinner.
Jay’s clubs were delivered to Carnoustie in time for the first golf round in Scotland. Weather was windy and partly sunny. The course was being prepared for the Senior British Open so spectator stands were up and some of the seniors were arriving for their practice rounds. Fred Funk was in the parking lot; he was gathering a handful of golf balls that he had dropped on his way to the driving range. Our driver Stewart asked him for his autograph and we wished him good luck for the tournament.
